she turns 8 in a week! are you kidding me?
second grade must be the year that makes such a difference. when i see her now ~ for some reason, all of a sudden, she is so grown up!
i’m anxious to get her and her sis out for more pictures, though i’m afraid, the next round of pics might make me a little sad because i’ll be able to see just how much they are growing up.

even though i completely guessed his age wrong during our first meeting, we still became quick friends. i had to work a little harder with her, she wasn’t quite so sure…at first (pretty sure we were friends by the end of our time together).
as far as mom and dad ~ it seemed as though we’d known each other, well, forever! this family was so much fun and i can’t wait to see them again!

my first wedding of 2012 could not have been more amazing! the bride and groom were both gorgeous and honestly, every person there could have stepped straight out of a magazine!
you could tell how wonderful this bride was just by witnessing the number of children that were part of the ceremony! one minute she was getting ready and the next she was cuddling with kiddos.
such a fun group of people and again, so much fun shooting with Allison of Allison Marie Photography! i’m so excited to be teaming up with her several times this year! make sure you check out her images from the day!

when i started this business, i had hopes of connecting with other artists that i could feature on my blog. so i was completely excited when Janet Sgro asked me to photograph her work!
walking into her house, i fell in love with her style ~ so colorful but clean and it all meshes so well to create a beautiful but comfy “canvas” for her and her family to live their lives. you can tell how much passion goes into her work just by looking at her art but to hear her talk about it takes it to another level.
mostly using paint and pastel, she creates these amazing pieces that take your breath away. i know i could find perfect spots in my house for any of her pieces!

it’s already time for those of you graduating in 2013 to start thinking about your senior pictures.
now, i know you’ve been thinking about being a senior for about, well, forever so you need to get this crossed off your list.
i have openings for 2013 senior class reps and you just might be perfect! check out the information below and get an email out to me, because i’ll announce the winners April 13, so there isn’t a ton of time. check with your parents to make sure it’s okay with them (i’m guessing if they know you have a chance to earn $$ toward your session, they’ll be okay) and then get to work (it’s just a little work)!
now, if you aren’t a 2013 senior, i’m sure you know one that might be a perfect fit so let them know about this! thanks for doing that — i appreciate it!
